Ourcompany has an outstanding opportunity for a resultsfocused highlydriven and experienced Billing Clerk. The purpose of the BillingClerk is to process car deals by verifying completeness ofdocumentation.
JobResponsibilities
- Verifies data completes state forms makes disbursementfor taxes and fees and submits to the state
- Processes new car and preownedregistrations on dealer s software system
- Prepares and distributes title envelopes
- Maintains followup on all incoming titles
- Maintains and reconciles schedules for tax title andlicense payable and lien payoffs
- Identifies internal control issues by reviewingexisting policies verifying changes in authorized personnel andcommunicating issues to the Accounting Manager
- Maintains error logs
- Processes payoffs on tradeins and floorplan pulls contracts and forwards to financial institutions
- Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) data todocuments
- Reconciles inventory schedules as assigned on a weeklyand monthly basis
- Processes rebates
- Attends weekly department meetings
Requirements

Valid drivers license
Educationand / or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; andsix months related experience and / or training; or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
